1. Jolly Roger Cake
Make a cake with the famous skull and crossbones symbol, the jolly roger, which is closely connected to pirates.
What You Need:
- 9X13 cake of your choice
- Chocolate icing
- White Icing
- Cake decorating kit (or just a baggie with a twist tie)
- Jolly Roger cake stencil. Print it on card stock for best results.
What To Do:
- Bake your cake and let it cool before decorating
- Cut out the skull and crossbones jolly roger cake stencil
- Lay the skull and bones on the cake where you want the pattern
- Ice around the skull and bones, and inside the eyes and nose, with chocolate icing. For the tight spots you may want to use cake decorating tools (or just squeeze icing out of a baggie filled with icing).
- Carefully lift out the stencil pieces.
- Fill the skull and crossbones sections with white icing.
